YouTube help

Since I saw the new YouTube button on my update journal page, I've been playing around with it. What i can't figure out is why the videos I embed are showing up on my friends' pages, but appearing blank on mine. Is it something really simple that I'm missing? I'd appreciate any help, thanks!
