2 Questions

I have two simple questions. They're probably duh answers but I can't seem to figure them out, hope you can help.

1) how can I hide comment threads like this: http://community.livejournal.com/buttah_icons/3716.html#comments?


2) I reconstructed my comment links to take out the edit & add to memories images. I hand coded the links like <a href="">Add to Memories</a> What is the code to insert in the href? I know on S1 it's something like %%itemargs%% but I'm sure it's different on S2
