We can only try to remember what it was like to be new to S2 and to S2 customizations because we're not any longer - fortunately for you otherwise we wouldn't be able to help you at all :) If nobody who is really new to S2 gives us feedback then the documentation will stay as helpful/unhelpful as it is.
