Image as title - AND - Sticky post?

Is it possible to have the sticky post that comes in this tutorial: Custom Title Component

Also work with this tutorial? Replace the Title Component With an Image

I've got an image as Title Component, and a regular sticky post as first entry in my LJ. I would like it that post appear like the sticky post in the first tutorial (as a component, not a post).

Is it possible?
