Metadata in a box and misc. problems

Hi, so I was wondering if anyone could help me? I'd really appreciate it if you could, and I apologize if I sound like an idiot right now. I've been toggling with a custom layout here, but I have no idea how to put the metadata [feeling,tag, music, etc] into a square box? I've read the tutorial and tried it out, but I'm still confused. I'll give you the code so that you guys can better help me [I'll email them, or lj-message them to you]  :P

And also, I'd love to be able to put small icons on each of my entries which allow me to mem, edit the entry, delete it, and so on - how would you go about doing that?
