Components and such.

First things first. here are my codes and you can view it all here.

I've been re-doing my codes for about 2 weeks now. They seemed to be working just fine, until I realized I was unable to disable things in the side bar (such as links, calender, etc), even if I do it manually through "Customize Style." I decided I wanted the navigation component, so I removed the code I acquired from a previous help entry, and low and behold, now the components I wanted disabled are disabled. There's one problem solved...but now I can't seem to get rid of the navigation bar and set it so it's just a component.

Basically, I'm wondering if anyone can help me set it up so that I can disable the navigation bar when I want it in a component (or I want to make my own with a free text) and have an easy way of re-enabling it when I want that, instead of the component.

I think there were a few other things that needed tweaked, but I can't seem to remember them right now. I guess that means they aren't too important. =P

Think anyone could help? If I made any sense, that is.
