Contextual Pop-ups, Navigation Strip, Subject Links

Me again! I was wondering
1)how to get contextual pop-ups to work in Component layouts?
2) how to get the navigation strip to work
3) make subjects into links like in flexible squares.
4) is there a way to quick replies to work as well?
