cute but psycho

OK I am sorry for posting this again but I still can't figure out how to make an entry that will stay friends only to stay at the top without screwing up my calendar... does anyone else know?

Component Box Idea

Okay, I have this idea for a component box however I am not really good with code and I was wondering if any of you coding geniuses could help tell me if this is possible!

In order for my pages to load quickly, I have it set so that only 5 entries show up on my page. But sometimes I want to go back quickly maybe 30 or 40 entries.

Can I make a component box that like I type in the number of entries I want to skip and then it will like append that number I type in the box and then it like appends it to the html
http://www.livejournal.com/users/bubblesinmyhead/friends?skip=5 to that number... and then displays it.... is that possible... I'd find it useful you know.

Help with 3 columns!

Hey, it's me again
I'm still trying to use the components on both sides. Okay I got the entries in scrollboxes, but I'm not exactly sure how to make each and every box always be the same size. It is stretching my screen out beyond 1024 and its annoying. Also, how do I incorperate things such as google search and random icons into my 3 column journal, I am strugglin like crazy with this.

Sorry Ive edited this like 10 times trying to clairfy my question :(

Ha! Or... skip back entries with a form...

In this thread someone said it was impossible to skip back entries via a form. So I had to be a jerk and prove them wrong. Note: this is a hack, and hence, is not 100% browser compatible (it uses meta-refresh). Also, I'm not at this point checking the page-view, so it redirects back to your base URL (it won't work for your friends-page). At any rate, let's play.

That wasn't so hard, was it?
