Your'e all probably getting sick of me by now. XD Anywho. Thanks to creepigurl I was able to get background music in AND at the same time learn about making new component things. Hurrah. Anywho I have already read this http://www.livejournal.com/community/component_help/75405.html Which tells you how to get a graphic at the top. I can do that with no problem. HOWEVER I'm a fussy moo. You see I want a background aswell. At the moment I have the background in, journal set with transparency and such. I want to keep that but also have a graphic at the very top. Can it be done?

Title your entry, please. Thanks!
Hi. Sorry to bother you all, but I've searched through the community and can't seem to find the solution to my problem. I was hoping someone could advise me.

I've just set up my first custom component (a picture component) but for some reason I now have a striped background, which I don't want (it should be plain rgb 030303). I can't find what caused this or how to switch it off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this has been addressed before, and I'm sorry if it has - is there any way to center the calendar's title?

I don't know what I've done wrong with my code... I'm working on editting the print_entries thing and now my components are showing up at the bottom, under all the entries, instead of at the side. I've been messing with this for the longest time and can't figure out what's wrong. I'm assuming I forgot to close a table or div tag somewhere but I can't find it... Could someone look over it and help me? Please?

http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/layersource.bml?id=455755&fmt=html

I figured out that the part that was affecting it somehow is under the Mood/Music part... where I closed the table there. Every time I moved that around, or if I tried to put that in a div tag, it changed it all and screwed it up worse...

*sigh* I feel like such an idiot, I've been messing with it so long I should have figured it out by now :p

edit: It's fixed now :) Thanks all of you for your input and help. And thanks so much masterslacker for fixing my code for me! :)

I am happy with the way my component page looks (well mostly...) with a custom picture on top and some extra free text boxes on the side. But whenever I go to the pages with "Livejournal" stuff at the top, they're completely messed up and illegible. Is that because of my journal?
Thanks!

In the tutorial posts, listed under 'memorable posts' there is the following typo.

I'm wondering if anyone happens to know where to go to get a nice list of the color themes that are associated with Component.

I've basically made my whole LJ, so I modify stuff in the layer, and not going at all to the 's2 customizations' section. I'm wondering if there's anywhere in the docs that I could grab the rgb codes for each theme, the background/header/table entry etc, so I can make a huge list in my layer where I just comment out all but the ones for the theme I want to use.

Anybody? Anybody?
