Component Help

hey guys, if you want to be able to play with timezones on your friends page and make entry times local to *your* time, get brad to implement the DateTime Perl module into lj.

that would be "uber-spiffy." ^_^

I found a tutorial recently for centering and resizing the component layout, but the coding doesn't work with the coding I've accumulated to make my journal look almost the way I want it to.

Is there a way to center/resize my layout that will work with my current coding?

Also, is there any need to clean up the coding I have? Anything in here that's unnecessary, etc?
