when using the code in the 'recreating the nav bar' tutorial, how would you center the nav bar text?

I've been trying to use the tutorial in memories here to create components on both sides of my journal, however some of my compenents have html in them (ie.. UPDATE COMPONENT & WEB COUNTER).

Is there a way to work around this without getting errors such as:

Error compiling layer:
Compile error: line 185, column 7: Unexpected token found. Expecting: [TokenPunct] = (
Got: [TokenIdent] = method

Context

181: }
182:
183: print_comp_header($title);
184: """
185: "form method="post" action="http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml" name="updateForm">"

{Please note quotations usedd in line 185 are just to post in this community)

I think most of my problems can be chalked up to user designed variables in the COMPONENTS ON BOTH SIDES TUTORIAL and/or these """ series of quotations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks kindly

:)

I am sure this is something I am overlooking in the tutorials but thought I would ask anyways ...

I want to make a component that looks like the one chicacintron has her navigation info in. I tried to use the tutorial for the navigation style component but I keep getting an error.

Any help would be much appreciated!
