I looked through the tutorial and found instructions for random quotes as far as coding is concerned, but I haven't created any themes or layers or whatever is needed to do straight customizations from code.

Anyway, my question is: "Using the regular, LJ provided customization options, on the 'Layout' tab, HOW would I enter random quotes into the box, so LJ recognizes them to be separate quotes?"

I've tried semicolons, dual quotation marks, etc. It all prints in one big blob on my journal. I tried searching in the LJ FAQs and Help sections, but couldn't find anything.

Like I said, I'm not interested in getting all wrapped up in coding. I just want to be able to simply enter it on the generic customization page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to possibly put a wrapper around the $e.text in my entryOverride so that;

it will detect if there are html tags left open in a posted entry.

I'm sick and tired of some stupid quiz maker forgetting how to format tables and having the resultant friendentry mess with my whole layout.

there's got to be a convienent way around this, aside from de-friending someone ;)

help?
