(no subject)

It's possible the answer to my question may be hidden in a tutorial, but I couldn't find it. Or, rather, if I did find it, I didn't understand it.

I like how my journal looks on every page, with the exception of my friends page. That page displays as too big for the screen. That is, you have to scroll to the right in order to get the full view of the back (check it out if this doesn't make sense). My other pages don't do this, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this little problem.

PS- I used many of the tutorials from this community, and they were all excellent, especially keeping in mind my complete lack of knowledge regarding html, coding, etc.

the little triangles in the corner of the components...

ETA: Okay, and if the code that was so graciously given to me in a comment below just kind of confused me (as I have no real knowledge of coding period) is there an easier way to do this? Like, a way to stick something in the user layer, where are the variables about how you want your comments to read, how many entries to show, etc., instead of messing with the theme-layer? (sorry if this is really confusing!)

I've searched through the entries and it's entirely possibly that I've overlooked the answer to this, but:

I'd like to have the edges of my component boxes round, I guess, like sarkastic's.

Using ignited's theme-specific tutorial, I created my new layout. I believe pamelajoy's tutorial covers this point, but only if you are creating your new layout as the user layer.

So, if you're still following, I'd like to be able to round the edges and post the code in this order: livejournal.com>customize>advanced>layeredit.bml?id=3230775

and then put the code in there. I hope this makes sense and that I haven't broken the rules too badly. If so, I sincerely apologize in advance.

New here

First off thx for all the tutorials.
But just some things I wanna add but cant find.

I want an image between my entries and also a coloured scrollbar.

For the scrollbar it accepted the normal code but then didnt show up on my journal.

If anyone can help I will be grateful.

Date Names

Greetings all.

I've added the code below to my layer to change the months to Latin and I was wondering what the code was to change the week days as well (I'm assuming it must be 'set lang_dayname_long') but do I start with the Sunday or the Monday?

reply page customizing

Now, I've managed to get my journal looking pretty much the way I want via many lines of pretty code, but I'm stuck on the reply page.

In my customizations, I have the userpics on the right of the actual entry instead of the left, and I have a customized security icon. I want to be able to apply those to my reply page as well.

Am pretty sure it's doable, I just don't quite know how
