Can someone please help me?? I've looked through the tutorials and I've got the extra components in, but for some reason now there isn't any space between my control panel and misc. ones and now my page summary isn't spaced away from the newest (Fave movies, tv & books) component I added. How can I fix it?

Also, I've tried getting the dashes on both sides of my user pic, but I keep getting errors whenever I've added the codes. Here is my layersource html

I would be forever grateful for any help. As you can see I'm not very sure of what I'm doing. :p

Extra bottom scrollbar - why is it there? Mmmm?

I am so sorry to come and bother you all again, but I have been trying for the past few hours now to rectify this problem, and I still cannot seem to find where I've gone wrong!!

I have checked the memories and tutorials, I have included the shrinking and centering in the codes, but the recent view page on my friends journal, violentnitemare is still including a scrollbar along the bottom, and I can't understand why?

I used the exact same addtional custimizations as for my own journal, just changing the header and colours, but for some reason, her journals recent view page won't line up with the header...the header is centered and I've checked all of the custimizations again and again against my own, and I just cannot figure this out.

I'm so sorry to bother again, as I have already asked for help with this particular problem, and I tried everything that was suggested to me, and all I can think of is there must be something small I have overlooked...

I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me, I'm trying my best to figure this all out...

Thank you for your time concerning this, any help would be wonderful!!

Sorry to be a complete bother, but I've just finished coding my component layout, and I have three questions.

1.) How do I remove the title bar, so that my entry boxes are right next to my header image without the title in between?

2.) How do I rearrange my components? I'd like my navingation component to be below the profile component.

3.) How do I make my components more scrunched together? Like on this nullspace journal? Her nav component and calendar are smaller.

Thanks if you can help me out. =D

So, I have a bit of a conundrum, and if the tutorial exists to help me and I totally missed it, then by all means pelt me with rotten vegetables -- except eggplant, it's hell to wash out.

I'm about to sit down to code a new Component layout for my journal using the shrinking & centering tutorial, among other things. Instead of a nav bar, though, I'd like a customized nav component in my sidebar, with extra links tossed in there. Do I need to use the original layout code to create my navigation [including forward and back links], or is there someplace I haven't spotted yet that includes the code for the navigation component? I could probably tinker with one of the nav bar tutorials, but I'm afraid I'd do irreparable damage to A) my journal and B) my sanity in the process. Point me vaguely in the direction of code, and I'll be set. I think.

navigation bar help please?

Hi guys. I hate to ask a question I KNOW is answered in the tutorials, but every time I try to do as they say it does nothing.

Here's my journal.

I've already successfully used the centre code, and I'm happy with everything apart from the navigation bar. I REALLY want to try and give it rounded edges, and I've followed the tutorial but EVERYWHERE I put the code, it just errors out OR, gives me a rounded navigation bar WITHOUT The shrink/centre layout (I lose the headed picture too obviously).

The only code I have is the centre one, so where on earth do I add the rounded boarder code to make it, y'know, work?

Thanks guys. *is useless*
