I used the shrinking and centering tutorial, but I want my link color in my nav. component to be different then the link color for my journal. Is it possible to change that, and if so, how?

in advance if this has been asked .. I searched through the tutorials and found the stylesheet info but I'm having a problem figuring out where exactly to put it -- so that I can customise.

I'm using the 'squared sidebar' on each side layout.

I give up! This is too much for me. I was trynna code my LJ with component but it's not turning out right.:( I followed the tutorials and my LJ still turned out like shit. So, I'll pay someone $5 (via paypal) to code my LJ with component. All I want added to my LJ is: a header image (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a266/DirrtyBlues/LiveJournal/Header1.gif), css, & smilies for entries.

Please reply or email me at DirrtyBlues@gmail.com if you'll do it.

Thanks.:)

I'm really scared to ask for help on this since I'm pretty sure I got on a couple of people's nerves during my last visit, so I'll be sure to make this quick and utterly painless, ok :)

I wanted to align my metadata in a way that heavily resembles the style of halffling's metadata.

I spent two days trying to find codes for my journal, and I finally got it to look the way I wanted it to (with the help of some tutorials). I thought I'd put it out there for those of you who simply want the code to edit instead of searching through tutorials, etc.

Sorry if any of it is too vague or doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it. I'd strongly suggest people know about CSS/coding before attempting this... just so you know what to look for incase I missed something!
