Good times

New location feature

(This is probably common knowledge, but I thought it might be helpful to some.) :)

The update.bml page has a new field, Current Location. You can add this information to your music / mood / etc. fields using $e.metadata{"location"}. I have an example of how it looks in the most recent entry on my journal (although it's a bit cluttered when everything is displayed).

Location location location

So I want to remove the linkification from my location (and change the text if possible), but I don't want to screw up the little box my metadata goes in and coding (especially S2) gives me headaches.

If anyone can help, the layer ID is 194387.

One question

Hi! Just one quick question that I'm not sure if has already been answered;

I want to attempt to include both the header image and a header box with the title and subtitle text. Before I added on my header image, (which was how component pretty much looks before you alter it,) the header box was already on there, but when I added in the code for the header image on top, the box where the text was disappeared.

Is there anyway to have both the image and text (in its own separate box like it used to be) on at the top of my journal?

it's all about location

yes. we know. new toy. ONE ENTRY ABOUT IT.

if there's something new, i'll prolly post about it. i've been away from home actually having a life for once. ;)

so. wait until i get home later tonight. consolidate your questions to THIS ENTRY.

if you've made a previous post about it, link to it in a comment here. stop making new entries. it makes your glorious leader and the high-up minions unhappy.

carry on, kthx.

Help....swithced from IE to Fire Fox and now my journal isn't right.

Okay so I've customized my journal to my liking...and it's wonderful! but I recently switched from IE to fire fox...and some of the codes arn't working.

Okay so if you look at my journal w/ IE you will see that the components are semi-transparent but my image are solid...this is how I want it to look....In fire fox the image are also semi-transparent...anyone know the fire fox code to get the effect i want?

this is the script I have for the transparent component...I can't find the code for the images though...but I remember it took a while to find a solution to the problem when I posted I'm sure it's on here somplace I look around to see if I can find it.

(changed the brackets so code is visible)
