Suppress journal subtitle on Friends and Calendar view?

(I've read through the FAQ and past entries, and didn't see this mentioned, but if it's there and I missed it, I apologize...)

When I go to my Friends view and Calendar view, my journal subtitle shows up underneath. The problem is, the subtitle doesn't make sense in that context, only on the Recent Entry page in conjunction with the journal title. Is there any way to suppress the journal subtitle in the Friends and Calendar views when using Component? I'd prefer to keep the title and subtitle visible on the Recent Entry page, if possible.
