Image between comments?

I'm wondering if this is possible in the component style.

I had this in my old journal, and wanted to have it in the component style now.

I would like to have a little image between the area where the comments are, something like:

link to place a comment (small little image) link to read the comments

Any idea on how to do this?

And, my apologies if this was asked before...i looked for this question here, but after a half hour of rooting through, i couldn't find it.
