I apologize in advance if these questions have been asked and answered already, but I've browsed around and haven't been able to find what I need.

1. How do I keep my background after I've put an image at the top, above the entries? I've tried a ton of things, including what it says in these comments: http://www.livejournal.com/community/component_help/445328.html, but none of it has worked.

2. How do I edit the width of my entry tables so that they're the same width as my banner at the top, like chicacintron's layout?
