Scrollbar help needed..

I can't figure this out.

I want my 'Free text' component to have a scrollbar, but when I tried to apply the codes from the tutorial, it didn't work. Can someone help me out?

Also, I can't for the life of me figure out how to put scrollbars in my entries. I think I've tried everything that's been provided to help me out, and nothing seems to work. Help? :(
