I may have completely missed an entry/tutorial where this is mentioned, if at all, but: is it possible to remove the bar above the journal entries that displays the "Name" of the journal user and is it at all possible to remove the lock on protected journal entries?

I apologize once again if those two questions have been mentioned before and have solution's to them. Any help or guidance to these two alternations would be appreciated. Thank you :)
