palimg texture background not showing up

Hmmm. I tried to get my background in my current style to include one of the s2 palimg textures, but it doesn't seem to be showing up. I tried just your basic body code in the css: body {background-image: url(http://www.livejournal.com/palimg/textures/ice.png/ptFFFFFFF3F1FF);}

It's just not happening. Help, anyone?
