Why some bold and some not?

This isn't really a question on how to change anything, I am just looking to see if anyone knows why sometimes the dates on entries are bold and sometimes they're not? Or is this just me? At first I thought maybe to differentiate even and odd-numbered days, but that doesn't seem to be the case...I also thought maybe entries that had comments were bolded, but that wasn't it either.

Example of what I mean:

Anyway like I said, I'm not looking to change this or anything, I don't really care, I was just wondering why it does that. Thanks for any explanations.
