Okay, so i'm using the double sided component layout. I've combined a few different component codes i've worked with into this one. I'm trying to put scroll bars in the components. I have them in there, but here is a few of my problems

1. I know the colors aren't great yet but, I want it flush against the edge of the component so the blue doesn't show on the other side. I've played with "width:104%;" 105 puts it past the component, 103 brings it further to the left. EDIT: I figured out it's b/c of the text area and img codes in the components themselves. what can i do to keep these, but not have them effect the scroll bars of the component

2. I want a little bit of room (maybe 1-2 pix) between the text & the scroll bar. I'm guessing that has to do with some sort of padding, but i'm just not sure where it would go in the line and what it would be called.

3. there is all of a sudden this stupid line going all the way down my layout along the component and across the bottom of the page. I have no idea what this is or how to get rid of it. It seems like it has something to do with the fact that the last component has no ending...?! EDIT: i fixed that. There was a table width missing

I haven't put up the layout yet, I'm viewing it in my styles here

This is my layer id: 5455669

I hope i've given my problem in good detail and my resources are stated correctly. thank you and hope someone can help me!

♥Also, in the Opal style, this code is put in to make the bolded words a dif. color:
b {
along with italicized and underlined words. Can this be done in component layouts, and where would it go in my codes?

♥ I went through the tut for a search component, and its on and looks fine, BUT i read that it's only for public posts. Can i not do it then, for my community which is FO? I know, that sounds stupid since i just answered my own ? but I just wanted to make sure.
