Component colors/fonts not working.

This is probably a stupid question, but I tried to change my component layout to a custom one by using a user layer. Now, my components are in the right color, as I wanted the rest of my journal to be. I set it to the same colors, but no luck. Also, I don't like the font, and I have it set to Arial. It's already taken me two nights to try to figure it out, and I've scoured the tutorials. If you need to see my codes, I can email them, or here's my style ID #9458053.

Help would be much appreciated!
