probably the stupidest question ever asked...

But I've been looking at the tutorials for a couple of hours now, and ready to tear my hair out and cry in fustration. I wouldnt be asking this unless completely at my wits end, because I know its such an inane question, and hate knowing that Im suffering a complete brain fart and cant find this out on my own.

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial in installing a pre-made, component layout? I have the code for both the theme and user layers, but cant figure out HOW to set it up for my LJ.

I used one a few months ago when installing my current layout, but cannot find the tutorial anywhere.


If anyone can point my sorry self in the right direction, Id be extremely gratefull. All I need is the link, and should be okay after that.
